Nacap wins APA Yamarna Gas Pipeline Project
January 2018

Nacap are pleased to announce that we have recently executed a contract with APA Group for the Yamarna Gas Pipeline (YGP) project.

The YGP project involves the construction of a 198-kilometre DN150 natural gas high pressure pipeline to be built east of Laverton in Western Australia, running from a connection point off the existing Eastern Goldfields Gas Pipeline to the new Gruyere gold mine project site.

The YGP project will be headed up by Luke Baldock as Project Manager and Jack Walsh as Construction Superintendent.  Well done to Wayde Moon, Hugh Boyd and the estimating team for their substantial efforts in tendering and negotiating this work.

Works will start in January 2018 with mobilising and establishing a 200 person camp, with the balance of the field pipeline works starting in February 2018.  A high production spread of plant will perform these works over the course of only 4 months and we expect to complete the works by the end of the June 2018 quarter.
